After 4 years of stalling at #4, congrats, he's up to #3.

Nevertheless, congrats.

Numbers 1,2, and 3 are all very close in terms of performance this year. Should be interesting to see how Murray and Nole fare in Paris without Roger. And again, London should be a very interesting battle this year (IMO Rafa was never as big a threat as these three at the O2, surface, indoor, ETC.)

I hope to see Murray ending the year at #2.

I'd be perfectly happy with Murray ending at #3

He's still achieved a lot this year, he's deserving of it. If he doesn't end the year in the top two this year, perhaps he will next year.

I hope so. I do think that he will reach at least #2 some time next year

You don't want Fed to finish the year as #2? Isn't he your favorite player?

No, I don't have favorites. I like all the top four.

Considering he's had to consistently reach finals and semis of Slams and win many Masters 1000 tournaments to stay in the top 4, it's a great achievement.
He's joined a great list all, bar him, are multiple slam winners, and three of the names in that list are in his era.
Is this possibly a sign of things to come for Murray?

And people say he's not consistent enough. ;)

Funny things is, between 2008-2011, he was the only man on tour to win multiple hardcourt MS every year. He aslo won at least 5 titles a year for 3 of those years.

People will say whatever suits them. Some would rather choke on their own vomit than give Murray even the tiniest bit of credit.
