Hey guys, has anyone ever measured the real head shape of the Tecnifibre 325 vo2 max? Do you think it's larger then a 95?

Thanks, R.W

Also, I know Tipsarevic uses a leather grip but does anyone know which brand?

Here is a picture.....

I haven't measured it, but it's definitely larger than the recent Wilson and Dunlop 95s (specifically, the Six.One 95 and the Bio 200). It felt closer to (or maybe even slightly larger than) the Prestige MP and Pro, which are called 98 sq. in. but are generally thought of as 95s. Again, I haven't measured any of these, but this is based on direct comparison.

Anyone.......

TW University measures the width (and thickness) of the racquet head of almost every frame that hits the market at six locations - 19" from the butt, 20", 21", 22", 23" & 25".

Go here: http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/cgi-bin/trajectory_maker.cgi#output

Pick your frame and impact location (one of the six above) and then go down to "spin window" in the results.

How does the OP propose to "measure" the area of the racquet face?

I disagree completely:) 325 is better, but we all have our own opinions.

I just demo'd the TFight 325. When I compared the head to my Slazenger Pro Braided 95, it's definitely larger (especially in the upper 1/2 of the racquet).

This racquet's direct competitors which are similar in performance and weight include the Volkl Organix 10 (325g) and the Solinco Pro 10 -- both of which are listed with 98 sq in head size.

Btw, I came across this review by Tennis Now, and they also talked about the head size looking bigger than reported: "Another thing I notice with Tecnifibre racquets is that the head size tends to seem larger than listed, and even the 18x19 string pattern looked to be fairly open."
