My limited edition midplus came in today. Strung it up with TF X-1 biphase 17 in the mains, and TF Red Code 18 in the crosses. 50/48 lbs.

Very nice stick. For me, it was easier to swing than my Prestige Pro's, but still stood up to hard shots without so much as a wobble. Really comfortable too. Serves were kicking nicely. I can highly recommend.

Anyone else have the new midplus (limited edition or the regular one)? If so, what string setup are you using? I want to experiment and get this dialed in. I think I've finally found my stick after a lot of looking.

It came with a sonic pro and I liked it for a change in that racquet, but it must have had very low tension as there was a lot of pocketing and power.

Similar to the OP, X1 17@52, Babolat Revenge 17 @49.

I like BHB7 and own a reel actually. Can you still control it at 35? I string that stuff around 50! Maybe I will try 45 and see if I csn handle that first.

I use x-1 biphase on my Head IG Youtek Prestige at 50 lbs. I have been using it for around 2 years, but I have been thinking about switching because my strings break like once a month. I also dislike the amount of power I get from it, getting more power would be preferable. I am a 4.5 baseliner with weak serves (for a 4.5) and a decent net game and the x-1 biphase feel really good for me. If the durability was higher, I would only get this string

I can but some days I bump it up to 40 but the majority of the time it's 35

I 2nd BHB7. I really like it @ 60 since it is so soft and elastic, and the stick is pretty powerful.

I have a second one coming in today. I figured I'd better get two because I do not know how many limited editions they made.

I will string that up with the BHB7. I usually string that at 50, vut will go down to 45 and see if I can control it.

I played again for an hour after work yesterday. The midplus really excelled at slice shots for me. I was as accurate as I have ever been. I am really, really, impresed with this stick. Plus, the paint job is just stellar, as the pictures above can attest.
