View Full Version : Does anyone else think that the new logo for the AeroPro rackets looks ugly?

I saw the pictures for the new AeroPro rackets and I noticed that the logo looks different. I thought Babolat forgot to put ink on the stencil until I looked at the logo from the buttcap. It looks like it's supposed to represent the letter A, but I think it looks really ugly. I can't wait to try out the new AeroPro Drive and the racket looks good, but the logo is my only complaint so far.

I think the new logo is supposed to look like a "F", as in France.

The logo is fine, the racquets on the other hand... no no.

Don't care for it. I do not see the reason for any re-branding at this time.

It's simplified and a slight improvement, but not much different.

I don't like the stencil design, but I don't use them in any event.

I think the new logo looks too cold and corporate. The stencil logo just looks incomplete. So many are going to look at them and think the player didn't finish painting.

Hope they go back to previous logo, new one looks terrible

It will be interesting if there is a reversal on their part, at lest on the stencil logo.

Looks incomplete to me.

<SIGH> I wished they didn't copy Yonex with that white part on the shaft that's printed "Babolat". It breaks up the cosmetic even more. They should've just kept the whole section black to give it a much more uniform look. I guess now there will be more brands doing the same thing for 2014. <double sigh>

Memo racket stylists and sales execs: Wilson's Blade 93 seems to be the hero cosmetic du jour - if you're looking to copy something for MY2014, copy that.

^^ I agree that white part ruins it i like the look of the 2010 aeropro better

I think they look ugly. But then again I think all babolats look ugly soo...

The whole "futuristic" look is going to wear off in a while. Babolat's going a little overboard... completely changing the design to be
"futuristic" and getting rid of tradition is not the way to go.

babolat keeps on changing their logos

11-25-2012, 11:17 AM
The stencil I don't like but I like th enew logo, and I think its suppoused to be a "B" for babolat of course, not an A.

11-25-2012, 11:31 AM
Yes it's a stylized "B"

As for changing back forget it - get used to the new logo...they spent millions on re-branding and it's been in the works for over 2 yrs.

I think it's kinda cool - the full double line is over 100 yrs old.

These rackets from Babolat looks the bestest painjob and logo I have ever seen from them

On the butt cap it definitely looks good, but not on the strings, the racquet doesn't look great, like the new Wilson Blades -sick paint job- and the new VCore Xi racquets -beautiful and sophisticated.

The racquet now is more expensive $14 bucks, rip off for what it is, just like buying a BMW made in USA for the price of one made in Germany. I would not pay more than $150 bucks for any racquet made in China, no matter what it is.

Looks really weird.

The new string logo looks just like the old one but cut in half... the new logo works on the butt caps but they should really use the old string logo.

To me, It looks awfully similar to 2 thirds of the Adidas logo...

Anyone knows where I can get the new Babo logo stencil to download so I can print it and make my own stencil?
Head-logo's are everywhere... Old Babo logo was very easy to do it without stencil... I can order it online, but for a few euro's I pay more for sending than the stencil itself costs!
