View Full Version : Ball machine settings

Tommorow I'm renting a ball machine for an hour. I need to know what interval to set it at for alternating forhand and backhand. I have just changed my FH and BH grips, so I'd like to set a pace that will force me to learn a quick grip change without it being overly demanding. What's a good setting to start at? 5 sec, 8 sec?

I honestly don't think anyone can answer this for you. You will have to go out there and find out for yourself since everyone's fitness levels are different.

This will depend on the pace of the ball and spread pattern. Also, most machines have a 1-10 setting, not an actual time. Once you have the machine up and running it will only take a minute to get it set up the way you like.

That's pretty funny. Such dry humor. It's been a while since I saw that movie.

I'll just wait and see what the guy who sets it up recommends. I hope the remote control has an option on it for this.
