I'm currently using the wilson pro grip..the white one...
However, I always seem to get blisters, even after the callause has formed..the blisters are undre my little finger, and my ring finger..they hurt like a mofo!!!

What are some ways to treat this blister, and to prevent it?
would beefing up my gripsize prevent these?

That could be the case, if indeed it's your grip that's causing the problem. First of all, is your current grip the right size for you? If you don't know, check out this from the TW learning center: Measuring Grip Size (http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/LC/Gripsize/Gripsize.html).

That method of sizing isn't absolute, but it's a good starting point. Plus, it happens to work for most players that I know, including myself.

are you using a leathergrip? i used yonex supergrap with a head leather grip and i blistered like crazy for about 2-3 months and then all of a sudden i stopped getting them. (unless my overgrip rips and i don't changei t and it keeps rubbing)

Some people are just more prone to getting blisters.

I tape my fingers and toes the moment I sense a burn. I have had enough blisters to know exactly when it is beginning to form. So I always carry a roll of sport tape, and it does prevent blisters.

I've bowled for many years and bowlers tend to get blisters on the thumb. There are several products available for quick blister repair. Basically, it's superglue that you brush on the area you'd like to beef up. Worth a try. Click here (http://aspenclassifieds.com/shopping/Games/IG_details.asp?ID=45820&Manufacturer=Ebonite) .

you got it. let me know how it works out for you. BTW, this type of stuff is usually in the pro shop, or, if not, then the vending machines for bowler's supplies.

if you really want to prevent blisters, i suggest building up some callouses. riding bmx is an excellent way to build up callouses. here is my grip of choice:

The liquid stuff (liquid bandage which is basically super glue) works but not very well. In my experience, when you get a blister, you have a blister and you either play through it or you stop. Nothing really helps. Tape is the best alternative, but it's still a hinderance. Best thing is to build up the callouses...your body learns.

You can change grips which help, but you can lose feel.

Yeah, riding bikes is a good way to get callouses on your hands. PLus, its a good workout.

sometimes - it is not the overgrip but the replacement grip that is the culprit.
try changing the original grip to a different one.
