Can someone please list the charicteristics of a racket that will give you tennis elbow? I have never had it before (:D) and am looking to switch frames but now I have been hearing a lot about tennis elbow recently and I am really concerned that if I buy a frame I will not be able to use it due to TE. Thanks a lot.

read other threads with "elbow", educate yourself

stiffness over 63-65
headheavy
light, under 320g
are to be avoided

but don't forget about your strings (avoid harsh polys) and your technique

A racquet that is "elbow friendly" should have a flexible frame (<62), be heavy (at least 11.02 oz.) but head light. It should also be of standard length (27 inches) and be strung with soft string (gut) at the low end of the recommended tension range for the frame.

In addition to having a racquet that is easy on the arm, you should have proper stroke mechanics to avoid TE. I recommend doing everything to prevent TE because once you have it, it's tought to get rid of.

Good luck.
