Hi,

which grommet holes do you knot off your crosses when stringing a Wilson H22 Pro Stock racket (18x20 string pattern) with Hybrid string job (2-piece string job)?

AND: would you recomment around the world stringing when this racket will be stringed as a 1-piece string job? How to do ATW ?

Any pictures would help

thanks

Its basically the same as a 18x20 Radical
7Bottom for the mains. (6 Bottom might work )
Tie off cross 6Top/7Bottom

It looks like skipping 9 bottom, and 8 & 10 at the top. Correct?

On a 2 piece/hybrid I tie off the mains at 9T and the crosses at 10H & 10T. I prefer to tie crosses to crosses whenever possible on 2 piece string jobs. This will possibly require making the holes larger depending on the age of the H22. Almost always you would have to expand 10H & 10T. Note: the new 2015 retail Blades holes were large enough as is.

ATW stringing is personal preference for the stringer and/or the player. A lot of pro room stringers use ATW when doing 1 piece stringing. Richard Parnell has posted an excellent video on ATW and my good friend Drakulie may have a video as well.

I have 2 h22's 18x20 and I do ATW when using a 1 piece. The mains end at the throat so doing ATW is better for the frame.

Any tension advice? I string my PT57A at 53/50 with Alu 1.20. Souls I go higher on the H22?
