I often play at the Gene Autry Sports Complex in Mesa, AZ (near Phoenix) when I am visiting. Its a public facility and they have drop in doubles every morning. Its a very nice facility.

The only problem is that to get a competitive match for drop-in, I have to bump up my USTA league rating from 3.0 to 4.0, as the Mesa, AZ residents seem to exaggerate their capabilites quite a bit.

If you are actually a USTA league 4.0, maybe the drop in tennis will bore you, but the facility is still nice.
