I have a few questions regarding a forehand grip.

I have heard that Federer uses a strong forehand grip, is this true?

Also, what is a strong forehand grip?

Thank you in advance.

You mean a strong eastern forehand grip.
It is somewhere between an eastern grip and a semi western forehand grip.
This is the grip I use myself. I used it before I knew what it was or who used it.
The base knuckle is inbetween the right side of the racquet and the 2nd bevel, on the angle formed between them.

Start out with the eastern, if you get better you can always switch to a semi-western.

same here, i hover between that and a semi-western.
