hey guys-

I have been demoing the following rackets lately:

ProStaff 90 (Head size: 90)
ProStaff 95 (Head size: 95)
Babolat Pure Drive Team Plus (Head size: 100)

My game consists of a lot of powerful groundstrokes from the baseline. I like the pure drive but i feel like it gives me a little too much power. any suggestions?

thanks,
jcl

Try the standard length Pure Drive.

You should try the Tour 95, a little less power than the PD but still has some pop. Maybe try the Surge, its the same racquet as the PD except the woofer is gone (a very good thing). Also the graphics on it will make your opponet sick, giving you a few free games (you will learn not to look at it yorself during a match eventually.)

The Surge is kind of like Medusa's head in Clash of the Titans, if you can get your enemy to look at it(and you make sure you don't), it will be to your advantage! Nausea will set in almost immediately. BTW A 90vs.a 95 isn't much difference in headsize, similarly a 95 won't appear much smaller than a 100. A 90 vs. 100 will be noticeable though.
