I was wondering if users could give me there opinions on any Kirschbaum string that you have used. It would be especially helpful if you could compare or describe any of the following:
Super Smash Honey
Super Smash Spiky
Thanks in advance.

I like the Touch Turbo best

The best....Touch Turbo. Most unplayable when it loses tension....Touch Turbo. Competition is a good compromise -- not as good as TT but holds tension longer, less wire-like than Spiky

Ive used kirchbaum competition for about a year now. It plays about as well as the others, has a softer feel than most polys, has great power and spin potential, but most of all it holds tension much better than the other kirchbaum strings.

I think Touch Turbo is the best. It feels the best to me.

kirsch competition played best for me, not super springy, nice control

I started w/ the SS then went to TT then Comp. The SS is crisp but tough on the arm. The TT was a nice change = mild poly -- like other posters I enjoyed the unique springing feel. But the hands down favorite is the Competion. Very crisp - not as bad on the arm and plays solid longer than the others. The SS lost lbs fast. I'm a 4.5 baseliner

the only thing I didn't like about Competition was that it felt absolutely dead/muted from the get go. It didn't seem to have any life whatsoever in it. That, combined with a really soft feel, left me just kinda indifferent to it. Maybe I should have given it more of a chance.

I don't suppose some one could compare tension loss between PSGD17 or laserfibre supreme to kitschbaum competition.

Which string has the most control, and for people who have used either Competition or Touch Turbo, what tension did you string it at?

I string my Competition @ 59 lbs. in a 95 sq. inch HPS 6.1.

I like supersmash
but I was recently sent a set of a new string called p2
a new poly they're developing
I like that one a lot
plays softer than supersmash
yes, i was sent them too. p2 plays somewhere in between competition and touch turbo, very good string, i just hope it won't be overpriced like some top polys:(
