Hey, now that's exactly my string combo. White Hurricane mains with black PSGD crosses on my nCode 6.1. Nothing sweeter.

Klipper Graphite. It's a texturized synthentic gut. Never loses it color. Never broke it. It does lose tension kinda quickly in my opinion.

Signum also makes a black string.

Signum's string is actually a charcoal grey. Cool color. Nice playing string with titanium coating. Does well as stand alone or as a hybrid.

I bought a POG of off **** and it came strung with Technifibre Tournament black strings. Do they still make these strings? Would love to get it again.

is prince lightning xx good in black?

Prince Lightning XX does come in black, but it's not a solid black. It still has the silver "power foil" braided into the string.

As far as black strings go, are there any MULTIFILIMENT black strings?

I would stay away from black PSGD. It leaves black string marks all over the balls does not play as well as white, natural or optic yellow.

I've used both PSG and Prince Lightning in black and found them both to be solid strings. However, i recently discovered Gamma TNT2 in black and like it the most. I have it my both my Vantages and in one LM Prestige. Here's the link:

Doesn't the PSG lose tension fast and move a lot?

I wouldn't say it loses tension fast. I think it's quite good in that department unless you are a baseline basher. But it does move a lot.

Gamma Syn Gut 16 (original, not Wearguard) is available in black.

Black was one of the color waves that subsided, but shows a mild comeback. Pink had a few years and there're current efforts to promote it. Purple had a peak, although a few still have interest. Optic yellow went for a long time, but has sagged.

Sometimes there have been too many colors, contributing to too many SKUs; there's far too many strings brands and "models" as it is.

aer0, have used Bab Fiberace & Fibertour the past three years, my favorite firm Multi. Bit firm but still elastic, holds its tension well, good durability.

Consider Head Megablast, available at TW's sister site: http://www.racquetballwarehouse.com/descpage.html?pcode=MBRB16
I don't play racquetball. Using racquetball string would not have occurred to me, except:
1) the very first natural gut I purchased had been packaged for racquetball; 2) free samples of racquetball string arrived in my mail, one of which was Head Megablast 16. I am a mid-50s player, valuing comfort in my frames and string. Designed for "maximum power", I guessed Megablast wouldn't feel boardy or stiff. I am not a string breaker.

Installed Megablast in a Head TiClassic 98 sq.in. 18x20 at 55# using a Klippermate on 8/19/05.
Fresh stringbed felt lively and crisp, not boardy at all, with negligible string movement. After hitting approx 2 hrs a week, using moderate, not extreme spin,
there is superficial notching of the outer string layer;
outer layer just beginning to wear thru in the sweet spot due to ball contact;
negligible string movement for the first two months,
"moderate" string movement thereafter;
stringbed still feels "crisp" and "lively", has not gone dead, or "trampoliny".

Thanks Ronaldo, just wondering, what's the difference between Fiberace and Fibertour?
