RSI stringers survey 2005 on "Best Strings"... Natural Gut $24..

I'm going to splurge for the $24 babolat real gut: Babolat Tonic+ Thermo Ball Feel 16…17 9.6. It rated just a fraction under the number one rated Babolat (9.6 vs 9.81) which costs $35!

The user feedback on it here is tremendous. I am a seldom string breaker, so this might be a real game improvement for not much money.

For a few months, BDE Performance 16 was hard to get (TW only had 17 as did a few other wholesalers). I tried the VS Ballfeel (what used to be Tonic) in a few rackets for friends that normally use BDE. None of the 3 liked it as well as the BDE. One broke it fairly quickly and the others said it just didn't feel as good.
