In an article I read that the crosses of this racket should be strung 2.5 kgs
(5.5 lbs) HIGHER than the mains........anyone familiar with that ?
Yeah, I strung all my racquets with 4 lbs more in the cross than in the mains. The mains move less.

It's also depend on type of strings (main/cross). Natural/natural gut at crosses i'm usually let at the same tension as poly mains.
But generally I'm using lower tension for crosses, because they are shorter.

Yeah i dont typcially string crosses higher than mains. ussually i tension hte crosses down 2-3 lbs from the mains. Thats an interesting idea. How much does it affect playability?
That don't effect so much playability. I prefer to string like that than with more pound in the mains. Once you play with more tension in the cross, you want to play always with that stringing method. This is the stringing method of John Elliot who create Enduro, Wave Tennis, Ashaway Monogut.... Try this:
If you want to string your racquet at 57 lbs:
String the mains at 55 and the cross at 59.
And put 8 lbs more on the last 2 string before to do a knot.
That will do an overall tension of 57 lbs.
And the string will move less!
Always string in 4 knots.
Try this and you will like this!
