Is there anything one can do to help prevent cramps? In my last tournament I tried to prevent cramps by staying hydrated and I ate two bananas between matches, but I still cramped in my second match and had to retire. Is there a type of pill or something like that that I can take?

Thanks, Chris[/quote]

I also had that problem but it was with Volleyball. I would play sand volleyball tournaments and cramp up. I would have drank 4 or 5 gatorades during the day and it wouldnt help. It could be that your losing Salt.

A couple weeks ago I was playing in a tournament in Salinas and started to cramp I took a packet of salt (from McDonalds for instance) and then was fine. My crampy feeling went away and I didnt have any other problems.

Of course... your mileage may vary but it worked for me.
