Just curious what people would say are the three things they like most about the racket and the three things they like the least. Thanks.--talking about the PD standard (27 inches)

Positives:

1. Lots of easy power from the baseline and serve.
2. Good spin potential.
3. It's blue. Blue is a good color.

Negatives

1. Much too light.
2. Awful for volleys.
3. The feeling you get in your arm when you hit with it is similar to when you use a 2x4 to play tennis. Ok, that's a hyperbole, but it's incredibly stiff and just screams arm pain.

I agree with Muse, but I'm indifferent about the racquet being blue and the racquet doesn't feel super-light to me. It's great for baseliners that like to generate power/spin, great for serving, but it's not very good for volleying. It's also very stiff.

As I stated before, the volleying problem I've had is not entirely due to the racquet but probably my technique as well.

IMO the PD volleys much better than people give it credit for. Lots of doubles specialists around here play with it and volley just fine. Its quick and powerful so one has to have good hands to use it well.

Maybe it's the type of string & string tension that I was using but I couldn't volley very well with it. Danman, what string tension and string did you use for your Babolat PD? Maybe I sold my racquets too soon.

I am playing with either ALU Power or Unique Tourna Poly Big Hitter 17. I string at 54lbs.

Positives:
1. Great serve racquet (easy to hit flat and kickers)
2. Good spin potential
3. Good baseline racquet (nice power)

Negatives:
1. Not a great volley racquet compared to similar (PK laver type S) a little to powerful at times
2. Light weight (hard to return heavy balls)
2. very stiff racquet (may lead to TE)

I strung the racquet at 60 psi with Prince Synthetic, do you feel my volleys could've been better if I used a poly string? I've only used poly string once on a Volkl C10 Pro, which made the racqet feel really solid - I think I was using Luxilon Big Banger Alu 16 ga.

Pluses:
1. Great serve and baseline power.
2. Great on difficult shots where you are stretched wide and need to hit a good, DEEP defensive shot.
3. Soft, cushy feel when you hit the sweetspot.

Minuses:
1. Lack of consistency due to the woofer factor, you never know when you're going to get the giant trampoline factor. Surprise! You did! It's 6 feet long!
2. Same lack of consistency on volleys, also due to same woofiness, sometimes the ball sinks in, sometimes not, miss the sweet spot and it feels like you hit the ball with a tin can.
3. Feels nice with a nice multi but too powerful and breaks really fast. Plays well with a poly but feels like someone is sticking your elbow with needles as you hit the ball. The good news is, you'll have the feeling longer since it doesn't break as fast.
As you can tell, like many people, I've had a love-hate relationship with this racket...

positives:
1) Great serving stick. I can hit kickers over the fence!
2) nice topspin from the baseline
3) Baseline and serving frame IMO

negatives:

1) Too stiff: shoulder and elbow problems in an instant
2) Poor torsional stability, makes it a poor volleying frame and unfriendly on the body with mishits
3) Too light
