I was reading Winning Ugly and Gilbert said he's using
something called "chemical ice". It sounded like something
that makes a cold temperature chemically.
I googled on it but it does not return anything relevant.
What is this and where can I get it ?
Thanks,
FD

Chemical ice is what we used to call it back long ago. It is an ice pack that has chemicals and some kind of crystals in it. When you needed it you would squeeze the bag and break the seal inside to allow the chemicals to run onto the crystals to make them very cold. Nice ice pack for emergencies especially because it was dry until you needed it.

I don't know if they even make it anymore. I haven't seen it and our college Sports Medicine doesn't use it. I would check with sports medicine suppliers or training supplies, like Cramer or Mueller. I think that is what they are called.

I did a quick search for Cramer. There it was, "Instant Cold Pack"
here's a link.
