Does anyone own an O3 Tour that uses a 1HBH and is happy? I owned a couple of them when they first came out and noticed that the Prince grip doesn't seem to 1HBH friendly. I was wondering if the grip can be customized some way (shrink wrap, leather grip, etc) so that it would be less rounded and more like a Wilson or Dunlop grip? With its specs, it seems like the O3 Tour would be the best fit frame for me (and I really think I will wait for the O3 Tour Mid).

I use a 1hbh and use the 03 tour with no problems. I used to use a dunlop 200g and A wilson hps6.1 and I liked both of those grips very much. The 03 tour stock grip was too rounded for my tastes. I removed the stock grip and I added a babolat leather replacement grip with an overgrip and the bevels feel more pronounced now. Works great.

No problem for me either i have a 1hbh. Its very close to the grip of a Wilson anyway.

Thanks for everyone's reply. I guess I will try it again but with a leather grip + overgrip.

Add some more lead to the head as well.

Had the same problem when I used it. Having had a couple of Prince racquets, I agree with either using either a leather grip or a thin synthetic grip such as one of the Dunlop ones, and an overgrip to make the bevels more pronounced. This helped, but I found myself going to an extreme western grip on the 1BH (one more bevel over) to finally get my backhand going again.
