What are the difference between the two version of the hps 6.1?
What it brings in playability? really more stiffer? really more control into the ball? more power? more sensitive with the string? what you prefere between 16 ou 18?
If someone can tell me the real difference between the two racquets?

The main difference is the feel of the stringbed. On the 16 x 18 it is very lively, on the 18 x 20 it is a little firmer. There is also more pop on 16 x 18, a tad less with 18 x 20. 18 x 20 more control, 16 x 18 more spin. Both excellent racquets, depends on if you need the xtra control, and can generate the racquets head speed to get the spin from 18 x20.

I have the Ncode six one 95 16x18. I have hit with the 18x20. I much prefer the 16x18. This is the best racquet that I have ever owned.

agree with iscottius. directional control is way better with the 18x20 but you lose a little spin, especially on kick serves, but not that much.

i liked the 18x20 way better than the 16x18. same solid feel and heft, just better control.

another benefit of the 18x20 version is string durability. the 16x18 can be a string eater if you hit hard with spin. i've had 17g multi in my 18x20 for 8 sets and they are hardly notched. when i demoed the 16x18 with brand new strings, they lasted 2 sets. strings can be expensive over the long run so keep this in mind too.

I play the Ncode 6.1 95 have two of them. I just bought a HPS 6.1 to compare. My friends have the HPS model and I have hit with them but never played with them for a duartion. I prefer the Ncode over the HPS, more spin and power IMO. They are similiar, the HPS may serve better and be a little crisper and less power, depends on what you are looking for. I demoed the 18 x 20 version and liked it alot as well, but I play Lux in the 16 x 18, get good string durability, control and pop. I didn't feel that I always generated enough racquet head speed with the 18 x 20 to get the spin & control I have with the 16 x 18.

iirc, the hps 6.1 18x20 was slightly heavier than the 16x18. about half an oz, but it was slightly more headlight. i think the 18x20 was called the "tour"version.

Kreative is right. 16x18 HPS is 11.7 oz stock unstrung, HPS Tour is 12.0 stock unstrung.

no, there is 3 version of hps 6.1
one in 16x18 in us, one in 18x20 in europe (the one i've got) and a tour version in 18x20 and a little bite heavier.

if you're talking about the only difference being the string pattern, i'd guess that the more open stringbed would give more pop, and spin potential. the dense string pattern would give a crisper stringbed with more control.

you forgot the 18x20 "team" version available in Canada and Europe - lighter at 289g (approx 10.6 oz).
