not sure about S1, but the ones at TW are too light (240-270g) and too stiff (over 70) and will damage your arm

check this one:

Yeah. HEAD rackets in titanium era are quite lightweight. When I once held a Ti Radical, I was thinking about lead coating for entire racket instead of lead tape. Just too light.

The Ti S1 / Ti Laser right? Flimsy and stiff!

They are really light and I haven't seen any tournament players use this model even when it was new. If it all you have, use it, but I wouldn't go out and get a S1 for tournament play.

I agree with others' assessment. I think the racquet is too light also. If you don't mind us asking, what is you playing level? And what level are you planning to compete in?

I beat a pennant level player a few years ago in the finals of a tournament and he was using a TiS2 - which I gather is a fairly similar frame. He could certainly put a bit of heat on the ball and he didn't lack for control at all.
