New Board v. Old Board, which has more activity?

I get the feeling that this new format, however crappy it may be to everyone, has a lot more activity. I wonder if the posts/day are higher or lower than the old board?

The new board is still, well, NEW. Give it a month or so for novelty to wear off, and then compare.

We can't say for sure. The old software offered much less reporting than the new software. All we had before was page views/day. It'd be unfair to try draw conclusions based simply on that measure because the two boards have fairly different structures. FWIW, I don't think there's been a drop off and long term traffic will increase because of the increased functionality (in most people's opinion).

Occasionally I came across a website which has the exactly same format as TW's. I mean same color, same fonts, etc. It was exactly same. I think TW bought this format from a company, which possibly means no major change will be made unless going back to old one.

I'll cast my 2 cents - I think the new board has more activity.

This is a purely subjective opinion, though. It seems to be more, but I have no actual facts to back this up.

I thought there was less activity on the new one vs the old one. I'm mixed as to whether I prefer to have the discussions in the same order as posting or whether I like them to be bumped to the top if someone types a message
