We visited this world renowned knife maker months ago, and my Dad ordered 3 knives from him. They came in and they are BEAUTIFUL. EVERYTHING is hand made from the rivets and pins, to the blade. The craftmanship is extraordinary, hand engravings, reconstituted ivory handles........just beautiful, as simple as that...............Pics to come soon (hopefully)

Interesting...
I lost interest in pocketknives during high school. They serve little purpose in the urban world.
Do you hunt, Dark Knight?

These knives are to pretty to be used. Yes, yes I do hunt. I hunt white-tailed deer; we own a ranch that ....The El Monte Ranch is its name

I wouldn't go into details where you live. I hope you hunt for food.
Personally I despise those that hunt for sport. So out of the times.
Sorry if I offended you.

Has anyone ever heard of Hibben Knives? Gil Hibben is one of my buddies Dad, used to go to his shop all the time in high school. He makes alot of the crazy knives and swords from movies, like the Rambo knife, all the stuff in 'Mortal Kombat', just all kinds of wicked stuff. I've been over there when Gil's talking on the phone to Sly and Chuck Norris, pretty rad, 'specially when your a kid, I mean, what's better than SWORDS?!? Nothing... peep it http://www.hibbenknives.com/

DESPISE?

Jeez man, cut a guy some slack. If we don't hunt the excess deer they'll just over-populate and die of starvation during the winter. I'm not into hunting myself, but don't have problems with people that do. And, not all, but most hunters DO eat what they take. Actually, here in Missouri anyway, the hunters have to pay to have the deer processed whether they're going to eat it themselves or not. If they wish, they may choose to donate the meat to charity.

Yeah DESPISE!
Since when should hunting be considered a sport.

You contradict yourself Geezer:
"I'm not into hunting myself, but don't have problems with people that do."

So what do you think of those that DON'T eat what they take???
Do you have a problem with that???

Sometimes you have to take out some deer to save them... would you have the deer killed quickly with a bullet, or starve to death...it's not a pretty thing. We use most parts of the deer, and everyone likes chicken fried venison with biscuits and gravy. MMMmm....you just can't beat it.

I've never met a deer hunter who just hunted for sport. As said before, there are parts of the country that are so overrun that extended hunting seasons are called almost every year.

In my opinion, a deer that lives its life in the wilderness and dies by a hunter's gun is a much better living than a cow that is raised for no other reason than to be killed for meat.

Both are horrible ways to go.

I don't see the contradiction. I don't have a problem with someone that chooses not to eat their kill themselves, choosing instead to donate it to charity. Anyway, there's only so much venison that one family can eat in a year.

Why do you despise hunters?
