stringbed and spin

would spin be enhanced with a softer stringbed (more dwell time) or a firmer stringbed? i'm still very confused about this whole highter tension=more spin or lower tension=more spin thing. personally i think higher tension has more potential for spin. what about you guys?

This has been discussed to death here. There are defenders of both theories; that both high tension and/or low tensions gives more spin. Also, there's an article, that's been posted here several times, that concludes, based on a study, that there's no difference. However, that same study concludes that higher tension, definitively, provides more control. Personally, I'm a fan of higher tensions...
