I have to string all four of my o3 tours I am looking for something that is not beyond 8.00 a set.(not prince synthetic gut please) And a poly that is cheap and not too bad for your arm. What about tecnifibre synthetic gut since it is 35.00 a reel at TW?

Tecnifibre synthetic is HORRIBLE. I bought a reel and sold it on **** after 2 jobs cause I couldn't stand it. I've played Wilson, Prince, Tecnifibre, Head and Gosen cheap synthetic and Gosen is the best of the bunch.

I use the Gosen micro generic reels from TW in 16g and 17g and have never had a complaint. If you want something in a softer multi you have several good choices under $8; Tecnifibre E-matrix, Dunlop Max Comfort, Alpha Gut 2K and Wilson Sensation(the original one).

Forget about syn gut in this stick id use or try at least one of these from the list Pro Hurricane, Poly Plasma, Kirschbaum Super Smash, Ballistic Polymono and Polystar. If you have to use syn gut you will never go wrong with Gosen JC 16 in reel 722 long as well, but be ready for often string breakages as syn gut doesnt last at all long in this stick were talking about anyhting from 1 to under 4 hrs.

I don't really care for pro poly plasma I have it in a hybrid. I have a couple sets of kirschbaum. I am thinking at 52-55 lbs since it is a poly string. Also I am thinking about putting weight on the head preferably at 3 and 9 How much would you guys recommend? Thanks

Start with 5 grams at 3 and 9 then play untill you have adjusted to it then later on start trying a little more make sure you play a couple of times enough so you can adjust properly before going for more or coming to any decisions. You will find it drives the ball far better and also allows you to get heavier top spin.

Babolat Ballistic played pretty well to me.

IMO KIrschbaum Super Smash Original and Gamma Syn.Gut Wearguard is a great hybrid. It has a lot of feel and is very durable.
