I've been watching the night coverage, suffering through yet another boring women's match (glad Pierce lost btw), listen to Brad and PMac prattle on and on about their boy Bogy and finally even got to see some good tennis by Ferrero-Tipsarevic.

But now Hewitt is onmy screen and I won't get to see Hingis, which was the surely the entire point of the coverage! Get off my screen Leyton and let me watch the swiss miss !!!

Why the hell did Tipsarevic had to play that stupid between the legs shot and fire up JCF? That match should have been over by now.

yes, that shot was just stupid, changed the flow of the game. Well, I'm glad he did, JCF seems to find back some of his 2003 form, at least I hope so. ;)

Well, it looks like you may get your wish. I stayed up in order to see Hewitt vs. Chela, but they just switched to Hingis vs. some girl she'll probably destroy.

Order is restored and all is well with the world, Hingis is up 3-0 and lookin great as usual. Her tennis is looking good too ;)

The one concerning thing for Hingis must be that even against Laine, she is getting put into a pretty defensive position and then her opponent misses trying to hit a winner. I don't think she can count on that with higher ranked opponents in later rounds.

The loopy topspins she hits seem to work well as a change of pace and just giving her opponents shots up high where they don't seem to be able to do a lot with it. That also may not work against someone taller, like Davenport or Sharapova.

I'm torn. I mean, this Hewitt-Chela match is really compelling, especially with the past drama. But I really want to see Martina play. With the way this Hewitt match is going, Martina's going to be off the court before they have a chance to cut to her match.

Are you watching something different than I am Noelle? They cut to the HIngis match after 6 games of Hewitt vs. Chela.

I'm watching Star Sports. You may be watching a different feed from Australia.

Who's up next on Rod Laver Arena? I hope that Star Sports reconsiders and shows Martina destroying yet another player.

Hingis is awesome. And I don't even really like women's tennis.
