I use Bow gut or Pacific gut. I also use a gut/TiMO hybrid in two of the six racquets I carry.

Normally use a BDE Performance 16/Synthetic gut 17 hybrid. Have been using Alpha Prodigy 16 lately, and I really like it. One of the best multi's I have tried.

Where are you getting a 12g string? I'm surprised no one's asked yet.

See my signature. I'm in a string experimenting phase.

I originally tried SPPP and didn't like it.
I tried SPPP again last week and it played excellent.

I know what works for me and that is Gosen ProTuff 15L Nylon @ 52lbs.
Plays great for two weeks and then loses some tension.
Very cheap to string.
