Anyone use this in a 16 gauge? I just bought a set and am wondering on how it plays. I'm not really worried about durability unless its horrible because i've been using this other string for 3-4 months and am about to cut it out cuz it has no power.... Anywayz, how is the spin and power?

IMO, this is the best string out there right now for a little bit of money. It is better than PrinSynGut and I thought played really well.

I think it's a pretty good string for the price. Playability, looks, price...it's all good. Noting super remarkable to note, but a good string nonetheless.

I really like this string, good feel and great combo of power and control, excellent spin and ball dwell time. Other than my natural hybrid, this is the only synthetic I ordered with my latest order from TW.

This is one string that i think is worth it in its price range .

very good playability , you have to play with tension to tame the power , dont know about durability but mine has around 12 hours on it already and still playing really good .

It's price to playability ratio is very good for about 6.50 it plays more like a 10 dollar string.Somewhat comprable to TNT,E-Matrix and other entry level multi's or double wrapped mono's.Don't be fooled by teh basic synthetic construction, it's using much better materials. It wont fray or knotch too much so it just kinds busts.Comes in Black,Silver,Blue and limited gold. One of the easiest strings to string too.

I used it at 60 lbs in my TT Warrior on indoor courts. Liked the way it played, seemed to grip ball quite well. Popped unexpectedly after about 10 hrs. but hey, its cheap, give it a try.

I found the 17g Lightning XX plays well for me. Noticeably more spin, pop and control than the 16g; durability being about equal. I have used probably 6-8 sets of each. I play 2-3 times a week, and restring about once a month. Head Classic 600, 55lbs.

Good performance - reasonable priced.

I have just started using the Lightening XX 16g in a hard hitting 4.5 junior's sticks (old Bab Pure Control). I string it up at 57-58 pounds and he is getting good playability, spin, control and durability. Tension maintenance is decent. Last string job lasted him 4 weeks. He has 2-3 bats and rotates. I suspect he plays 4 times a week. A very good string for $6 a pack.
