I've seen Fed play from about 10 feet away on a side court and he looks pretty darn tall...

I believe Fed is the listed 6'1" - and they fibbed about Baghdatis' height - he appeared to be 2" or 3" shorter than Fed.

Federer looks to be 6'1" tall WITH HIS SHOES on. I walked right by him and he is almost exactly my height. I'm 6'.
Bag Dat is only about 5'10" tall, I'm guessing.

If you think these numbers are cracked, you should compare listed heights and weights of many NFL players with their actual numbers. Too funny. I guess everyone wants to be BIGGER THAN LIFE. :)

How about the WTA website listing Serena at 135 lbs? That has to take the cake. Oh wait, it can't, she already took it and ate it too. *snap*

Federer has big feet though, he has size 46, which could mean he is taller than listed

If Bahgdatis is around 5'10, then he was really hitting some monster serves at 130 to 135 mph from the 1st to 2nd sets. I don't really see somebody around that height hitting that big, or is there? Not Agassi for example.

Kiefer, Danielle Bracialli and thomas Johansson, for example ;)

naw, kiefer is bigger, and thomas Johansson doesn't hit anywhere near the pace of baghdatis...but braccialli yes..vs. roddick at Wimbledon he hit a lot of >130 mph serves...not the same off the ground...the truth is he is very unique in this way...oh actually grosjean hits the ball very Very hard and i think hes a slight bit shorter than Baghdatis and definately not as buff, but he doesn't dominate w/ his power in the same way - he relies on guille a lot more...

to the original post: fed does seem a bit bigger than 6'1" im guessing about 6'2"
hes about as tall as roddick
and yes baghdatis is quite a bit shorter than 6'0" he seemed taller last year, now looks about 5'10 1/5" or maybe 5'11"

onyx-better look out, serena might hunt you down and eat u too for that crack...then again that would only be an appetizer compared to what she eats... she eats like godzilla....nice post lol

Agassi is a bad example for serving speed for height. No doubt it takes world class ability to hit 130+ acurately while being less that 6 feet tall. Last year if you watched the Federer vs Suzuki 2nd round match. Suzuki regularly hit his serves deep into the 120s and past 130s and he's barely 5'9". Just about all his body weight and wicked racquet head speed....

I think they were referring to Serena's *** alone when the listed her at 135 lbs.

I disagree. Johansson is, as a server, so much powerful than Baghdatis.

Braccialli serves like gods ;)

No, Thomas Johansson.

You gotta start watching tennis closer, instead ;)
Thomas Johansson is probably, along with Braccialli, the best server under 6'0'.

Not many small ppl can crank serves 140+ like these two guys.

Now I do know that TJ is a huge server. I'm not THAT dumb.

Well, I probably am, but at least I knew that.

I'm sorry. I didn't meant to be offensive. I just thought when you said "aw crap, I gotta start reading closer. I thought you were just talking about big servers " you were mocking me...

All settled, then ;)

I'm not sure but I guess Baghdatis is a lil shorter than 6' based on the picture
