The two volkl frames that i am most familiar with are the volkl v-engine mid and mp frames. I like the mid much more than the mp due to the softer more flexible feel of the mid, as well as the thinner beam. I would like to try the DNX 10 as it has the thin beam that i like and also has a denser string pattern which i also like. Bottom line is that i am looking for a frame like the mid i use, but in a very slightly more powerful setup with a slightly bigger head. Can anyone help me with these questions? Looking to order one tonight.

DNX10 sounds like the one. The Gen2 has a softer feel more like the VEMid but bigger sweetspot, but similar power. DNX10 swings a bit heavier than your VEMid, is more powerful but you get that 'I can swng out' feeling with the 18mains in addition to a larger sweetspot

Really sounds like the racquet that I'm really looking to settle for.

That sounds like I've got to be prepared to spend some cash soon ...

Is the DNX10 already being sold in BKK? Last time I was there in Nov'05, I didn't see it at Central Chidlom.

Jonolau,

Yes, I saw the DNX10 on the day I bought my 10VE. That was three weeks ago.

interesting that Volkl went back to the pure oval with the DNX10.
curious if any of you is using that extra area in the V-Engines.

Well, I laid the DNX10 over the top of a T10 VE 93 last night...and they are very close considering one is a 98 and the other is 93.......the swingweight of the DNX feels heavier but not by that much. The beam is 18 on the 93 and 19 on the DNX but the DNX sure looks thicker than the T10 and the DNX handle is fortified and goes higher than the T10. The 93 is heavier but swings lighter......I haven't hit them together yet but I will let you know...

How much was it sold for in THB?
