I liked reaction quite a bit. I've not tried sensation, but from what I've heard I doubt it will play as well as reaction.

i really didn't like the reaction. I found the sensation to be ok. My advice is to spend it bit more money for something decent. Get the Luxiliion big bange alu power. Thats the good stuff.

reaction playes better and is a better string. holds tension better too. if you can afford the extra over sensation go for it.

do yourself a favor and never get sensations. they are by far the worst strings ever, it only holds playability for an hour or so, after that it's trash. I have heard reaction was good, so get that instead.

I compared these two strings late last year, albeit in different racquets. Sensation 16 in an n61 95 18x20 (@ 57 lbs) felt really bland and lifeless -- I cut it out pretty quickly.

Reaction 16 in a PS 6.0 95 (@ 62 lbs) has turned out to be one of my favorite racquet-string combos. The string is crisp (nice in a more flexible frame), but not harsh in any way. It's lively, gives excellent feedback, and holds tension very well.

The pro shop that i usually buy strings at sell sensation strings for $28.99 each. The reaction strings are the same price also there. While on this site they sell for far less.

The Sensation family of strings has an price per set spread of at least $8.00. The Reaction is closer to the X_1 as the have a combo firbre makeup. I like the Reaction better than the Sensations that cost less.

keep in mind they are including labor in the $28.99 price. they just make less on a reaction string job
