My comments in the "Different Mounting Systems" thread were maybe too close to home. I read the comic strip "Curtis" today in the paper which comes at my point from a different angle. Curtis and his little brother are staring into the window of an electronics store: C: You can play games on that cell phone, and with this one, you can take photos. C: .. this one can receive e-mails, has a 500-number memory, and makes BLUEBERRY WAFFLES ... (next panel the two brothers just stare at each other) Clb: Man!! Those phone companies are REALLY reaching! C: Of course! How else can they get to the bottom of your pockets!

Anyway, I had to chuckle when I read that.

sw stringer, America is a capitalistic machine. How else would they keep us in debt and working our whole lives?

Yup, to this day I avoid the tool department at Sears unless I actually need something, cause I know I've lost a good two hours looking at all the gadjets.
