13 rackets strung in 3 hours! Mostly all polyester jobs and 7 of the rackets were 18x20 patterns. My fingers are killing me though. Are there any records for speed stringing? If so how do you find information about them?

Holy Crap!!!! thats impressive. At work theres a guy that can string a racket in 12 mins, including cutting out the string and stenciling, he uses the star 3. I havent met anyone else that can match his speed and consistent stringbed stiffness.
now tell me; do the tensions on the rackets feel right???, no knock on you but i suspect the tensions on the rackets may be a bit low:)

These rackets are for a division 1 mens tennis team thats ranked in the top 30 nationally. I am sure they would tell me if something wasnt right! I can string a racket thats not all polyester in about 9 1/2 to 10 minutes depending on the string pattern. Thats the number 1 player for the team and he loves the job?

What machine are you using? Does your time include inspection, cutting out the strings, prestretching, stencilling and tagging or is this just time to string?
Thats insanely fast. It takes me 40 min to string a racquet. Thats just to string it...nothing else like mounting it and measuring string. I also wait for the string to elongate when pulling tension, so that takes some extra time.

30 minutes for me to string, thats a frame without string, I just measure it out and string it up, no stenciling. If it's all poly, then it takes like 40 minutes. I think it's easiest to string poly mains with synthetic crosses cause they weave quicker.
It takes me around an hour to do everything, 45 mins or so to do the actual stringing. 13 rackets in 3 hours seems increadible to me....:-O

It seems like every time I do it it gets harder and harder. Thats because I use Luxilon and it breaks once every 2 months and I almost forget how to do it! :)

He uses a Klipper Mate. Now you know why that stringer is so popular. It's a professional stringer's little secret.
