I am waiting to try the Fischer M-Speed 98 and the Volkl DNX 10. Both have similar specs -- identical size, weight and balance -- the difference being that the Volkl has a RDC of 63 and the Fischer has 58. Also the Volkl has a 18x20 pattern while the Fischer is 16x20. But both frames have fiberglass in them.

So, on paper it would appear they should play similarly. Has anyone tried both, and if so, which did you like better, and why? Would you call the frames muted? Which gives you more feedback through the handle?

Thanks!

I didin't like the 325g DNX 10. And because of the TW Review, all the guys love the racket, I think the Magnetic Speed Pro Number One 320g is a hyper amazing tennis racquet.

To me, the Magnetic Speeds (both sizes) seemed to have more pop. The DNX 10 325g seems to have a more consistent response. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the replies so-far, guys. Two-fister, which of the two did you like better in terms of feel, or were they pretty equivalent? Did the Volkl feel stiffer than the Fischer or was it hard to tell?

Both the DNX 10 and the MS's had very nice "feel." Between the two fischers, I gravitated towards the larger of the two.

Too much time has passed between when I tried the fischers and now (I'm using the DNX 10) for me to give you more meaningful info. Sorry.

But have you actually played with the Magnetic Speed Pro #1? If so, please tell us more. If not, how do you know it will be a "hyper amazing tennis racquet" for you?

two fister, how is the dnx 10 compare to apd+ that you are using?

The apd+ has more power and easier to generate spin. You can feel the DNX 10 flex on impact more than the apd+. The DNX 10 seems easier on the arm than the apd+.

I seem to have significantly more control with the DNX 10 and can place my serves better with it. The dnx 10 seems more forgiving on off center shots.

Hope this helps.

No problem. I'm also interested in the M-Speed Pro #1, so I wanted to hear opinions of people who have actually played with it, and since you said that it's a "hyper amazing tennis racquet", I wanted to know why you felt that way. :D
