yep, inertia is swingweight here. Bear in mind that there are several production batches of PC600. Not all of them carry the same specs. May vary a bit. The specs here were measured in 1999 or something like that.

63, that's the stats for the Head Classic mid.

Since we're on this topic, I finally found a used Prestige Classic since I was way too curious of how it felt playing comparing to my other LM version. My question for you guys though is this, whoever owns this particular nice stick (to be clear, on the sides of the throat, one side says "Prestige Classic 600", and the other side has a small lettering that says "HEAD" with "Made in Austria" written just underneath it), I would like to kindly request all users out there to check the buttcap of it and see if whether yours has a Head hologram or just the Head logo (silver-coloured) with a black-background colour around it. Not even sure if this has ever been discussed before since I did a search of it and none came so far. My point? It just looks obvious that something is different. And to my suspicion, most, if not all pro's that do use any Head racquet has that same silver-coloured Head logo with that black-background located underneath the racquet's buttcap. Pro tennis players that I can say and have seen for sure are: Agassi, Safin, Shnyder, and Myskina. Don't take my word for it (I could be wrong sometimes). Thanks for all your time and efforts guys/gals!!! :)

(Side-comment):
I really think the hologram ones looks pretty cool and very authentic-look.

P.S.
Mine's happened to be the silver/black background one.

According tennis4all.com PC600 Mid has Stiffness: 59 (100 point scale).
The site requires registration to get access to racquets specification therefor I attached the screenshot.

The pros don't have the hologram because you can't see it on TV or in photos. Simple as that.

The butt caps, stickers, and grommets that the pros use mean nothing more than personal preference or increased marketing ability.

Isn't that the specs for the Prestige Classic Mid, and not PC600. I thought there was a slight difference between the two.

All I know is that I bought 2 LM prestige mids and used them 10hrs each. Never touched them again. Going from the PC600 to LM prestige was a huge mistake. For one they are too light. I added lead to the LM to make the swing weight similar to the PC600. In doing so, I had to add lead to the pc600 so that both racquets will be the same weight. I had a pro stringer do it and the specs are almost the same but the LM still feels like a P.O.S. Its not solid, feels hollow when you hit it and the frame feels like its going to bend every time I make contact. Im selling both of them when the PC600 comes out.

I beg to differ Deuce. I did a quick search and here's some links that are "good-enough" to see closely at their racquets. Please feel free everyone to take a look.

In my opinion, if they DID have holograms on there, it would shine very brightly enough to spot it. I'm pretty sure and confident since I like to observe small details (mostly I can tell the differences), kind of like spotting a counterfeit money since it is bad for the economy, and good for the crooks who made them. I have some video tapes of some tennis matches, and numerous times when Safin has the feel of need to bust a racquet, they always zoom-in the "aftermath" of his VERY difficult to obtain racquets (There were some angles shots that were pretty obvious how the butt caps looks like in close-ups). Unfortunately, I can't show everyone those but have to watch their games and look very closely to it (it's not even that difficult to spot it if you put your effort into it).

Can you still remember in your best abilities if your PC600 have that unique round grip shape comparing to your LM Prestiges? Cuz' mine definitely does and had to adapt the new feeling of the PC600's roundly grip. I usually use the LM Prestige and had no discomfort using it (I guess I got used to that feeling already :) ) But after I finally received and tested the PC600, (Note: The previous owner changed the original Head leather grip to Fairway leather grip instead but I added a Babolat VS overgrip) had to really get to some adjusting, slowly and patiently until afterwards, it felt better using that type of shape instead of the more boxy/rectangular shaped that the LM Prestiges has. You are very accurate how you described the feel of LM! I would probably use the PC600 for my games until the strings goes dead or snaps, and my LM Prestige for a back-up (was thinking also to put lead tapes on it but decided not to, just to make it lighter and easier to swing a little bit). Just my preference. ;)

About butt caps. Maybe will be interesting or maybe not.. :
About 3 years ago, I bought my i.prestiges from local store. The butt caps looks really cool. See the picture at bottom. At the same time my friend of mine who is pro and have contract with head get a new gear from head. The racquets was of course i.prestige - the last model at this time. So... I was deeply impressed by his but caps. They looked much more... simple and different. Like this picture: http://www.vg.no/bilder/bildarkiv/1116101630.66855.jpg. I ask him why is this? Hi tell that do not know.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to butt caps. I bought a few grip pallets from a local store to have more flexibility in buying frames from the secondary market and I had the opportunity to choose from the silver on black generic cap you have in your pic, the intelligence caps, and even the titanium caps.

To prestigen:
Possibly your friend might've received a P600 pj'd w/ i.prestige (I could be wrong!) and if you got another chance to ask your friend kindly again, see if you could compare your i.prestige with his and hopefully you can tell a big difference just by the way that yellow intellibre thing is painted on.

To Loud:
What I'm trying to aim was that there's somewhat a pattern if the tennis pro's are using the stock version racquets (the ones that you can purchase anywhere) or pj'd version. By paying close-enough attention, buttcaps are one of the signs that shows the possibility that it is a pj (to look like the newest current racquet). Of course, everyone out there do change specific stuffs and details to get the perfect feeling for them. So the example that prestigen provided that weblink pic makes you wonder why. Then again, I think I'm just a curious cat! You know what they say, "Curiousity kills the cat, satisfaction brought it back!" =D

P.S.
Just to make things easier, I think those tennis pro's that uses Head racquets are most likely would have that silver/black Head logo on their racquet's buttcap.

I beg to differ Deuce. I did a quick search and here's some links that are "good-enough" to see closely at their racquets.
I'm just saying that the non-hologram logo on the butt cap can be clearly seen more often in photos and on TV than the hologram stickers can be.

Those buttcaps are standard issue buttcaps from the pro stock, they're black with a metallic painted Head logo. The "hologram" buttcaps are brown buttcaps with a holdgram sticker of the Head logo which will not show up in any photograph.

Loud

Another word on the hologram buttcaps. They suck when calling "up or down." You literally have to walk your racquet right up to your opponent to show them.

Hello,

I found a racquet similar to this (same paper ad in the stringbed area) on sale in a sports store.

The paper ad looks quite yellowish from age so I assume it's quite old.

Adely, I do not have the spec for the Classic mid. However, not all PC600/Classic mid came out equal. Of my various prestige frames, the weight range from 326 gram to 336 gram unstrung stock unmodified with plastic still wrap the leather grip. Then the swing weight also varies. If you look at one of the poster FrancescoMcenroe, he posted the spec of the Prestige pro as I requested (thank you again Francescomcenroe) from a euro magazine, and the spec says the racket came on SL and L. Looks like the messed up on the sticker grip size by having all in L.

The store you refer to has a reputation of being dishonest with its customers.

http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=91275

They are also charging too much for the Prestige Classic 600.

They charge $19.99 for one set of CAP grommets - that should tell you enough about this store's credibility.
