How do you guys think the LM Prestige MP would play with some lead tape at 3 and 9? I cant find any LM Mids that are reasonably priced anymore. I liked the more solid feel and heavier ball I can hit with the mid. What do you think about adding lead to the MP?

TW recently sold me my 4th mp over the phone for 149.99. I feel that thats a great deal, but i may have been due to the fact that i had purchased 3 other ones. I beleive that my first one that i bought was 169.99 though. remember: "Tennis Warehouse and other Authorized Dealers are required to advertise this racket at _____", this does not mean that they will sell it at a lower price, so call for best price.

Well I can buy LM MP for 110$ new. Unfortunately no sites that I have found to price match currently stock the mid, only the midplus.

Tried lead on my MP. Couldn't make it feel as solid as the Mid. Traded them off and just play with the Mid now.

Man I am just so torn. Do you guys think the MP with lead at 3 and 9 would be too head heavy?

How would you compare the MP with lead and the Mid?

If you want to add lead but keep the same balance, just add an equal amount of lead tape on the handle (run it lengthwise, from top to bottom of grip, on each side). You have to take the grip off, obviously, but it's no big deal.

Yeah, if I do in fact get one I will add a leather to it anyways.

All i have on mine is a vokl leather grip and it is perfect. I used to have a bunch of lead at 3&9 but took it off since i realized that the sw was too high for me. I plays fine without lead- the sweetsopt is already generously high, it is pretty solid on mishits, and it has pretty good plow through(leather helpds it in that respect for some reason). The leather makes it more headlight and perfect weight. It also gives a much better feel- this racket needs leather.

I had the mid breifly, but sold it to stick with mp's. The mid needed absolutely now lead in the head since it was solid as a rock.

Yeah, I really think Im gonna buy a LMP MP now and just add some lead and a leather. I Think I will like it better than the n6.1 95.
