Tennis tryouts are always a big deal, being a freshman I have been selected along with 7 other ppl to tryout for 4 varsity spots. This means that 4 of us will get cut. Our coach says he s going to look for consistency, a good second kick serve, 80% first serve, accurate net game. I know i can meet the criteria yet the only thing holding me back is the fact that under pressure, i begin to mess up my game. I talked to everyone trying out and they said that they were nervous too. I was wondering if you guys could suggest some strategy to calm me down and use the fact that their nervous to my advantage. by the way, tryouts are determined by doubles matches, we usually play a set and then switch partners. Thanks
