I have tried to figure this out by reading posts on the message board and reading review, but the ones who comment on the power of these frames seem to have different opinions. Most state equal or nCode 6.1 95 is more powerful.

You who have tried both what do you think?

Also, any diff betw the early, so called "white but cap", version of the Prostaff Classic and the later, so called "black but cap", version?

I am considering the 16/18 pattern models of these frames (but I would guess the concluisions would tranlate to the 18/20 models).

From my experience, Classic 6.1 provided more controlled power and heavier shots. I found it nearly effortless to spray shots with the n6.1 16x18 due to lack of feel of the ball.

White cap seemed heavier or less maneuverable to me compared to the black cap ones.

Eversince I switched to the N6.1 95, my game went throught the roof. I'm able to beat players that I usually didn't before, due to the extra power from the racquet. It's just a very solid and powerfull racquet. It took me about a month to switch from the prestige to the ncode due to the fact that the N6.1 sweetspot is much lower than the Prestige. Now, I own 5 of them. BTW I'm 5.0-5.5.

powerwise, the ncode 6.1 95 definitely has more pop. it also has less control and is considerably easier to use than the original.
