View Full Version : Inside out or not?

Do you put your overgrips on inside-out, or normally? I realize that for some grips, there is not a real difference...but I accidently put a Prince Microtac grip on my ProStaff inside out, because I wasn't paying attention, and I love it inside-out! Normally it feels nice, but inside out, it is extra tacky, but not too "dry."

Thoughts?

Maybe the side you're using now was the right side all along, and the side you used to use was inside out...

haha i have to agree, the "dry" part is the wrong side, the tacky side is definately the right side, or as you put it "inside out";)

No, because one side has "Prince Microtac" printed on it. That's the "normal" side. I put it on the other way.

I use Tournagrip so it doesn't matter.

I've tried putting on my grip inside-out to get the most out of it with two kinds: Wilson Pro Overgrip (it was okay, dry but rough) and Babolat Pro Team (blue if it matters [it felt pretty similar to the front side]).

So, there is no "right" or "wrong" side to Tournagrip? They seem slightly different and I'm never sure if I'm using the correct side.

On my wilson pro overgrips i put the side with plastic up, so i touches my hand, and the side w/ no plastic goes on the racquet.

How can you play without taking the plastic off lol? There would be absolutely no absorbency and not much tack either.
