Why do so many people prefer long body 27.5 over std. 27?

As for Babolat, so many people use PD+ and APD+, instead of the std. ones.

I played both the PC+ and PC. Seems like I can generate more power in PC+, plus I used the PK Kinetic 7g b4 which is 27.5. But generally they say that +'s helps in:

Serves which hitting down
Generally More Power
2 Hand BH is more convienent to hit w/

Harder to manuver
Takes time to get use to
sometimes alittle more heavier.

With raquets, as with everything in life, you don't get something for nothing. Everything is a compromise.

I played with the 28" Longbody Chang racquet for a long time. I enjoyed the extra inch on my service game for sure.

Ripper, I like the philosophical approach. How right you are.

I always wonder why tennis rackets are not manufactured and serviced like golf clubs, which come in different lengths for people of different heights, arm lengths, preferences, etc. Maybe the tennis equipment market has never been large enough for that. It makes you think why a 6'5 tall person would use the same sized racket as a 5'5. Yeah the court is the same but I'd think some would better significantly from a longer or shorter stick, just like in golf. Without many choices, you start with one length and kinda pigeon-holed yourself.
