I have recently been playing with a Wilson 6.0 95 racquet which I purchased a while back but never really committed to. However, I really like the racquet at the moment. It's very maneuverable and it doesn't seem too stiff. I just wish they had made this racquet in a high density version (18x20). Did they in fact do this at any time?

I am 99% sure that they did not.

But they did ... my friend plays (and beats me) with a 6.0 95 18x20 :)

I guess it may have been produced for the european market only.

Although, I don't know exactly, it's quite possible because many Euro versions have denser patterns to increase string life for predominately clay court play...

Slaz, is your friend better than you?

I wonder what playability differences are between his and your 18x20 racquets.

I am glad I left that 1% uncertainty factor in there....

To be honnest, he is A LOT better than me. Our matches are always close, but he always wins in the end.

I've played with his stick and there are some differences with my 6.1 95 18x20.

Pros :

more headlight, it's almost too easy to swing this stick :)
volley like a dream
slice backhand is a real threat

Cons :

less power
less spin
much more demanding on recovery shot

Voila ;)

PS : he also has a PS 6.1 Classic which is 18x20
