that's quite a lot for each month ;)

About 8. One for each of my match racquets. I should probably change them more often b/c I use White Super Grap & it dirties much quicker than any other.

Maybe 0.5.

That's an average of course, because I don't get new grips very often.

Four, but I remove and rewrap them to use the other side, so I'm rewrapping 8 times a month. Tournagrip.

Unfortunately, I'm not kidding Vinky. College tennis puts a pounding on overgrips, string, rackets, the body, the mind, well, just about everything...

within my 3 racquets i would say about 7 overgrips a month

04-05-2006, 08:42 PM
about 6 wit my 2 racquets

Around six to eight. Our school team plays its matches on courts that haven't been washed for at least ten years. Wilson pro will turn dark beacuse the courts are so dirty (new balls look old after a set). I switched to tourna for playing outside, wilson pro for indoors when I train.

i don't have the resources to get second 03 tour ms... but i go through about 4 super graps a month while hitting 1.5 hours per day on average.

I change my overgrips mostly every week or two! most of my overgrips are white so they tend to get dirty and i have some hard skin on my hand from blisters that rub against the grip and make them rip!

In my opinion, i think itz crazy that some people use their overgrips until therez mostly fluff on the part they grip! Overgrips arent that expensive and itz the only part of the racquet that you hold when making contact with the ball! thatz why i dont hesitate to change my overgrips

I have 3 sticks...i'd say probably 6-10 a month

hm, you either dont wash your hands after every meal, bathroom and play or you are just showing off

Let me just put it this way: When I do change overgrips it's a big occasion.

04-16-2006, 06:44 AM
I have 3 racquets and I go through about 3 overgrips a month (in total).

[Am I supposed to get intimidated by people consuming 20-30 overgrips a month??? ... ' cos I sure am... :D ;) ].

If he's got sweaty hands that tends to ruin a grip pretty fast, also if he plays very intensely for hours on end everyday.

Personally during Spring Break and the Summer when I can get 5-6 hours of court time I was using an overgrip a day.

I have just one main racket and I go through about 4-6 SuperGraps a month. My doubles partner can use one single overgrip without wearing it out terribly for about a month or so on an hour of play everyday. I think his max. was a month and a half on one single Wilson H2Overgrip. Amazing, lol.

I have 2 racquets, and I go through about 3-4 between both of them.

04-18-2006, 07:23 AM
I replace overgrips every 1 to 2 months. During the weekdays I play atleast three hours of tennis daily. What's up with you guys going through them so fast?

04-18-2006, 08:50 AM
It depends on whether I'm indoor or outdoor. During my summer clinics I was going through a Tournagrip a day. Indoors, every few weeks.

04-18-2006, 09:55 AM
maybe 3-4. I only change grips if it gets torn or too dirty.

04-20-2006, 07:34 PM
Around 3-4 for 2 racquets. I only change them when they become slick and slippery.
