In this thread, http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=60859&highlight=wrist+tendonitis , in post 12, Raftermania says, "Generally, a very head heavy racquet will put more strain on your arm while a very head light racquet will put strain on your wrist."
Do you think this is true. If so, that means that a raquet perhaps like 2-3 points head light, or even a nuetral or head heavy racquet would be better for my wrist tendonitis? I here everywhere that head light raquets are better for preventing injury. However, I have wrist tendonitis, so that is my main concern.

I think ANY racquet would be bad for your wrist tendonitis. I think the conception that head light racquets are worse for your wrists comes from it being easier to perform "wristy-er" shots compared to an head heavy racquet. With good technique, however, I don't really think head heavy or head light would make much of a difference, in terms of wrist comfort, as long as the racquet is stable and you're able to handle heavy shots with them bending your wrist too much.

Check the links there. There's one from the French federation, dealing specifically with wrist issues. They recommend racquets over 320g.

Headlight, proper weight and swingweight is ALWAYS better. That's been my experience.

Ya, according to racquetresearch.com , it seems that wrist crunch is usually less on headlight racquets. I am going to demo the PK 5G or Ki soon, once I can start playing again. What is the main difference in these two racquets?
Also, I was wanting to use the equations at racquetresearch.com, but the equation for shock is difficult, and uses several variables in which I don't know what values to use for them? Has anybody calculated shock in these equations before?
thanks.
