What do you use?
For XLs, how much is your forehand impeded by the xtra length?

Personally I can't choke up on an 27.5 XL but also still haven't found the ideal 27.25 stick yet either.

I just have a standard 27" and I hold it really low. I also don't like using longer racquets at the net or on forehands.

I agree, I just can't use longer racquets for volleys.

Impeded?

Its actually quite the opposite. It only adds more power. I love it. I occasionally will use a 28" racquet.

To me, it's incredible how the extended length and/or longbody frames have been labeled as exclusive 2 hands backhander's raquets. I'm a 1 hand backhander and, now and then, enjoy the pleasure of hitting with 27.25, 27.5 and, even, 28 inch long raquets. If you know how to use them, you can get UNREAL angles and spin out of longer raquets using a 1hbh.

I loved using longer racquets for serving, volleys, and 2-handed bhs, but could not hit forehands or 1-handed bhs very well with it. The 2-hander is unreal with a longer racquet for me.
