What are your opinions on leather? Personally, I find it too firm.

i like my leather grips...they're better for feeling the bevels and give a crisper response from the racket imo. it's also tackier if you take care of it correctly

Leathers will hold up better in the event of a crash. But on my 2 get-offs, I've had good luck with synthetics. Plus synthetics are cheaper.

When I started to play years ago I used Leather. Nowadays I still use Leather, albeit with an Overgrip over it.

I like leather for building-up grips. It holds shape better, and you can add an overgrip if you don't like the feel of the leather by itself. It is also an easy way to add weight to the handle.
I just completed 2 hours of stretching and wrapping, unwrapping, stretching and wrapping a leather replacement grip. I now have 2 new blisters and a torn rotator cuff.

I prefer leather with an overgrip.

leather all the way

Leather for sure. I love feeling the bevels under an overgrip rather than having a cushiony synthetic grip which has no feel. Leather all the way.

leather for sure. so much more feel of the bevels, gives you more control. if you've ever used a wood racket with its original leather, you know thats like the vintage ultimate. i love the old pure feeling of leather, but alas it doesn't hold up in competitive play, so for me, leather + overgrip.

leather for me too... i wore through other synthetics way to fast, that and i prefer the feel and response you get with leather... i recommend the babolat sold at tw... expensive, but worth the price.
