They are a bit different in specs. The 6.0 85 classic is a small headsize and a bit heavier and rated a bit flexier, but I've heard the 6.0 95 plays like a 62 stiffness. Does anyone have any comments on which might be easier on the arm? I played with a 6.0 85 for about 3 hours (loved it) but I feel a smidge in my elbow and shoulder. I was using synthetic gut at 60lbs.

Side questions: Are multis softer than syn guts? How would a Yonex TI 850 soft play? Thanks!

yes a bit easier. more open str.pattern, more headlight, but 85 is more stable. Depends what you prefer. Stability is of course good for the arm, but the higher swingweight on the 85 was not too good for my arm. Both great rackets, i reccomend some lead at 2 and 10 on the 95.

Agree. The PS95 is a bit more flexible and arm-friendly than the PS85. However, the Head Prestige line is easier on the arm than either. I like the Head Prestige LM Mid with natural gut.

I have both, and use both. Stringing mine with Luxilon ALU BB original at max recomended tension . . . I've noticed no difference between them, other than the well known and oft reported characterstics of each.

I personally found both on the harsh side. Neither, in stock form, felt that great to me (comfort-wise).

Yes, the PS 6.0 95 is more flexible and easier on the arm than the PS 6.0 85. It is also easier on the shoulder due to the lighter weight and swingweight. The more open stringbed (due to the larger head size although the pattern is the same) also gives a more cushioned response.

And, yes, multis are softer than mono syn guts, and the Yonex Ti 850 is a pretty soft string (although I personally prefer a crisper mono syn gut in the PS 6.0 95).
