does anybody have problems with athlete's foot? if so how did you get rid of it, i sometimes wear ankle braces which causes a lot of of excess sweating. the ointments don't seem to work that well, also it has creeped up my leg because of the braces.

This can get out of hand quickly and you will spread it to other people if you do not do something.

For me personally nothing worked at all, a Dr finally recommend bleach.

You fill up a bowl with bleach and soak your feet for 5 minutes.

It hurts and does not feel good, but is guaranteed to work in 7 days.

It never came back

Yes, you want it as strong as you can get it, but don't want to hurt yourself.

So with each treatment add more bleach, it does seem extreme, but I had no side effects and it worked so well and so fast.

Thing was the A-foot got out of hand so quickly and went from a bother to being quit scarey, that is why you should not go bare foot in other homes but especially showers

If the ceams and everything work for you than just stick with that, but when you need it gone now and want to make sure it is gone and won't come back then this is the best there is.

If you have cracks in the feet then it will sting, but when it has gotten that bad you had better get serious as something that seems so simple and silly can quickly infect other parts of the body.

Mouth, throat, nose, eyes ect, no joke

Yeah, bleach is the way to go. I got Athlete's Foot in my heel and could not get rid of it. The creams (Lamisil is the best) worked great for my toes, the heel infection was too deep I guess. Anyway, I would soak my feet in a 10-15% bleach solution for about 15 minutes after I got done playing tennis, when the skin on my feet was soft and pliable. It was gone within a week or two! You probably don't need a solution much stronger than that, it will burn your healthy skin.

It's strange how something so little can get so out of hand so quickly, I did not want to put my foot in there for nothing, until I took a good look at my foot and thought "I sure as heck don't want that stuff in my eyes, mouth, ect and I would like to keep my foot"

how about vodka? maybe the alcohol just might kill the backteria hehe. if it doesn't work you can still drink it...
just kidding.
i had it once..due to a pair of shoes that doesn't breathe well enough. real bad.. i threw out the shoe and got some nikes.. it stopped thankfully..

I've had it off and on. Just don't itch it.

it's almost gone with the diluted bleach, plus it's a lot cheaper than those creams that don't work. at least it stopped itching at night.
