I guess I should have changed my grip after a 6 year lay off. I have blisters on both of my hands. Any homemade remedies, besides time, that you would recommend, that would allow me to play this weekeng?
Thanks,
John

I'm gonna go out on a limb, since no one else has replied. What I do when I get a blister, is punch a hole in it to relieve pressure, squeeze out the fluid, then super glue it shut. The 'new' tender skin is now unexposed.. If it sounds barbaric, it is, but, at least for me, it relieves the aching. After that, put a piece of gauz over the blister (make sure no dead skin is left uncovered), then tape it down with enough athletic tape to last through a match. The gauz will help prevent the dead skin from being ripped off during the match and after when you remove the tape.

yes, good advise...though it will be painful if it is exposed to water...this is good!. the more pain the better, cos the body is healing...
