i have another one on the way...but i love the detail that Tecnifibre put into the frame. i have yet to play w/ it due to the rain... also i like how the small vibraclip dampener changes the sound of the vibration of the strings, which is the main reason i use one in the first place

btw...sry for the huge pics

haha...[click] BEELAY.

i must admit..the rdx500 does use a more sparkly paint for the paintjob, is more sophisticated...HOWEVER, it doesnt have the nice shiny buttcap, the rubbery logo above the grip..AND the cool vibraclip dampener

haha...yeah...from the pics on TW, the red looked faded so it didnt look too great and the clear bumperguard kinda ruined the looks, but in person, the racket looks much better

What are those things on the throat of tha racquet, the things that look like glitter? Does is have a purpose like technology, or is there just for cosmetic purposes?

it's just showing the technology tecnifibre uses. it's just for looks

the silvery thing at the throat is the "texalium" tech that TF rackets use. im still unsure of whether that's a sticker or not...but it does in fact look real. if you look closely, the fibers are actually under the red paint in some areas.

You should follow up stringing with straightening the crosses ;)

OR: Straighten while you string ;)

it's when you string from the top of the racquet down you weave the string down towards the throat. tensioning the string only does so much. you have to manually straighten them after you finish stringing.

There's also no string behind the one you're tensioning to "push" it back towards being straight. It's natural they are dipping, because there is less resistance to movement in the downwards direction(s). It's good practice to straighten post-stringing, or during stringing. Just be consistent whichever you do.
