which other racket sports?

What other racket sports do you guys play? I play ping-pong quite a bit. I play racketball every once in while just for fun. Don't like to play it too often as I think it messes with my tennis game and my poor wrist. What racket sport do you think is the most likely to mess up your tennis?:(

probably badminton because it's all about wrist in badminton. they flick their wrists instead of using their arms, which is pretty much the opposite of tennis.

table tennis actually isn't that bad for your tennis game. I think they complement each other. In table tennis, you get to improve your reflexes. While in tennis you get to improve on your form (namely, using your whole body for the stroke).

To do the loops and high level shots for table tennis, the whole body is needed to generate the spin (the forward hand form is pretty much the same as tennis, even swing length). You take longer swings if you have time and want to put more spin and power on the ball (true for both), the follow through is a must in both as well.

The only exception might be the back hand depending on your grip in TT and your stroke for tennis(one handed or two handed). For handshake grips (TT) and one handed backhands (Tennis), the motions are similar (more snap in TT).

I would play paddle tennis if it was close to me. But it is not. So I play no other sport involving a racquet at all.

I play only one other "net" sport and that is volleyball.

ill prove you wrong then :mrgreen: i play provincials in tennis, but city's in badminton. im not too big on badminton, its just a high school thing
